A Journey in Landscape Restoration – Carrifran Wildwood and beyond

A journey in landscape restoration: Carrifran Wildwood and beyond“, is edited by Philip and Myrtle Ashmole, but has more than 40 contributors, nearly all of them involved with BFT’s work.

The first part provides a bit of background, while the second part aims to demonstrate the remarkable changes at Carrifran after 20 years of ecological restoration.  The third part is about all aspects of the exciting work that BFT is doing now on its big newer sites, and its visionary plans for the future; it also includes accounts of other restoration projects in southwest Scotland.

The book was to have been published by Whittles Publishing in May, however in these uncertain time, Whittles need to have pre-orders of the book before they proceed to publication.  As supporters of BFT, we give you the opportunity to order this new book now.  We don’t think you will be disappointed.

There will be a discount code for members printed in the Spring 2020 Green Shed, or members can email: enquiries@bordersforesttrust.org
