Join us for a family fun day at Corehead Farm, The Devil’s Beeftub. We will be celebrating Borders Forest Trust’s ten years of restoring native woodland to this Wildheart site, and would love to see you there!
There will be numerous activities running throughout the day, including tree planting, willow weaving, firemaking, river dipping and a special ‘family challenge’. We also have a moth trap, tree identification sessions, a storyteller and there will be guided walks around the site looking at mosses and lichen, foraging opportunities and Coreheads secret ancient woodland. We will also be having a visit from a Golden Eagle!
A free shuttle bus will be operating from Moffat bus stop, from 10.15, as there is no parking at the site. Please bring a picnic and drinks, there will be portaloos but no food and drink available.
