Planting Dwarf Birch at Tweedhope, 16th November 2019

BFT

We will be planting Dwarf Birch high up at Whitehope Heights at Corehead on 16th November and it would be great if you could join us. Dwarf Birch, is a part of the montane scrub community and is considered to be under threat of extinction, and is therefore a very important part of our re-wilding and conservation plans at the Corehead site.

Meeting in Moffat at 9.15 with minibus transport to Corehead, please contact us to book on.  Please bring all weather clothing, boots, gloves, a packed lunch and something to drink.  If you are not already registered as a volunteer with us we will need your contact details and those of an emergency contact.

For further information or to register as a volunteer with us please contact volunteer@bordersforesttrust.org

This project is supported by the Scottish Natural Heritage Biodiversity Challenge Fund.
