Conservation volunteering is a great way to learn new skills, get exercise in the great outdoors and meet new people. Volunteers form a vital part of our team helping us to achieve our vision of large scale habitat restoration in Southern Scotland.

We have a variety of volunteer activities to get involved with:
Borders Volunteers
This runs every Thursday. The group meets in Galashiels at 10am and heads off in a minibus to different Community Woodlands around the borders to complete a variety of conservation and woodland management tasks.

Carrifran Wildwood Volunteers
This long established group, led by Andy Wilson, meets every Tuesday at 9.30 at Cariffran car park. For further information or to join the group please get in touch.

Corehead Farm Volunteers
This group is in its 4th year and going strong. Led by Andy Wilson, volunteers go out every other Thursday from 10am to 3pm and contribute to a variety of tasks such a tree planting and works in the orchard.

Talla & Gameshope
A new group – which started in December 2017, led by Andy Wilson. It runs on the first Sunday of each month and gives the opportunity to contribute to this exciting project from its inception.
